Wait staff usually make or break a restaurant, no matter how good the food may taste. The staff at Mother’s Cantina are exceptional. We arrived at 5 (hey! We skipped lunch) and were immediately seated. I’m pretty sure I had an ice cold Modelo Especial in my hands within 5 minutes! Yea baby!

Sometimes, more is less. The enchilada's excessive cheese overshadowed other flavors, the rice was heavy on cumin, and the black beans tasted nearly burnt. However, the atmosphere is excellent, and the kitchen staff is very friendly. Table service could improve. Given the overall ambiance and the kitchen team's dedication, it's likely this is a top-notch restaurant that was just having an off night.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants before covid. Bartender made me an amazing margarita they no longer had on the menu that I love. The homemade salsa is great. We did taco happy hour, we tried 6 different flavors, all were bad :( we didn't even eat them.
