Matt Ortt Companies, which brings more than 25 years of experience to the Ocean Pines Yacht Club, has been granted a two-year management contract by the Ocean Pines Association.
Overlooking the Isle of Wight Bay and the skyline of Ocean City, the Yacht Club features a two-story building with catering and dining facilities. The upper level is home to a stunning ballroom and deck in addition to a bar and bridal and groom suites.
Downstairs is a casual-to-elegant eatery with indoor and outdoor seating as well as two bars. Outside are a spacious patio with fire pits, Adirondack chairs, a bandstand, and a seasonal Tiki Bar and swimming pool.

Food was pretty good, almost 5 star . However, the service and atmosphere were great, both 5 star. The staff was exceptionally friendly and everyone was constantly busy. The place filled quickly for live music which made the atmosphere even more fun.

We have been twice. Once at the soft opening, and again tonight to listen to Transfusion playing. The first night the food presentation was poor. I had the burger that might have been 5 ounces and was way smaller than the bun. My wife had a seafood salad that looked unappealing.
Tonight, our food took an hour and 15 minutes to come out. I questioned about it every 30 minutes. The wings I had taste good but the menu said Giant Wings that were 6 regular size wings and 2 pieces of celery for $13. My wife had shrimp tacos that had 1 small shrimp with a little lettuce on each for $16. Not once did a manager come out to apologize or even explain why.
This is now under Taste of Italy management. It's my understanding they have a 5 year contract. This is the biggest mistake our HOA Board has made. I hope there is some loop hole to get Taste of Italy out of Ocean Pines. They are way out of their element...

I wish I could leave our server more than 5 stars. Our server was Bri and we did not catch the managers name. We go in on memorial day weekend. 2 of us. We were sat in about 10 mins IT WAS A HOLIDAY WEEKEND. SLAMMED PACKED. WE PARKED about a mile away. The kitchen was incredibly busy. The server was top notch as well as the manger. They brought us some fries and some seasoned bread to munch on until our food was ready. It does not matter what we ordered. We completely understand the business a holiday weekend can bring about. My point is. They did everything they could to make our experience enjoyable. Thank you to our server Bri and the floor manager last night Saturday may 24th!. If that helps. Thank you guys. Yall did fantastic. We will be back. Always
