Castle in the Sand owns The Waverly too. Castle in the Sand is nicer than The Waverly. The Waverly is old but no bugs and pretty clean.
The Ocean views are Beautiful if you get that type of room. Very convenient to get to the Beach. On-site Restaurant is very good for Breakfast and casual dinners.
Outside bar is good with food and drink available and small bands all the time. Fun !!

Stopped by to take a tour and the staff was amazing! Super friendly and very knowledgeable! I would highly recommend staying here. Great prices and great location

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The place itself looks like a midevil jail. No parking lot! The people walking around looked shady. My husband and i walked in, checked in and walked back out ten mins later and drove 2 and half hours back to nj. There were ants in the room! The toilet and the bed were at the front door! The band at Coconuts played outside our room! My husband saw a dirty chewed straw shoved down the sink! The lobby is so smelly and outdated! It looks like a Ocean City Howard Johnson but worse! Nasty, just stay away and save your money.
